Slapsauce is a music and media production company based in Chicago and created by Alex “Axeman” Surdu and Mike “Frasier”. After over a decade of collaborating together in the music industry, these two musical creatives formed Slapsauce with the common goal of sharing their talents and resources with other artists throughout Chicago's thriving independent music scene.

In true underground fashion, Frasier and Axeman got their start in Chicago by hosting bootleg open mics in the basement of a liquor store. From these humble roots, Slapsauce has grown into a sprawling community of independent musicians, artists, and performers across a diverse spectrum of genres and styles. They’ve also produced hundreds of songs and music videos in their D.I.Y. multimedia studio, all while continuing to promote the independent arts with live events and fundraisers.
